The curve balls life throw at us sometimes can be heartbreaking. When it feels like things are falling apart, there is a place to turn to find solid footing and comfort. These Bible verses for a broken heart are some of my very favorites in all scripture and are sure to point you towards healing and encouragement.
As someone who wears her heart on her sleeve, I am quite familiar with heartbreak. Regardless of what has broken your heart, it is our goal today to give you a bunch of Scriptures that will point you back to the truth that there is a Father in heaven who loves you more than you can ever imagine. He sees the burden you are carrying and cares about your pain. He will never leave you, especially when you are hurting.

Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Proverbs 3:5 TPT

But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly! Romans 5:8 TPT
I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us. Romans 8:18 TPT
So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. Romans 8:28 TPT
There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! Romans 8:39 TPT
Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! Romans 15:13 TPT
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 TPT
I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.
